The announcement of the 'face' of a fashion week is both normally something reserved solely for consumer fashion weeks and something we opt to not report on. Normally being the operative word. That's because normally the announcement of a face doesn't come with more than a few generic photos. 2011's LMFF and it's creative team certainly don't want to do anything normally however, and the photo shoot that accompanies the announcement of actress Melissa George as next year's 'Face of the Festival' goes someway to proving it.
